This is Bryanna Chabarria, but apparently no one can say that right... so, this is Bry. Like the cheese. She's beautiful, brave, and a total baddie.
Being part of a military family, Bry grew up with so many, yet so few places that she could call "home”. But, after her 4 years in College Station, she told me that Aggieland is the place she truly calls "home" now. Following in her mom's footsteps, Bry is contracted to be in the Air Force for 8 years after college (like I said before- total baddie), which will send her all over the world... and most likely not back to College Station for a very long time. So, when she talked to me about her senior session, she said "as long as I can tell it's 100% Aggieland. I just don't get to come back once I leave...".
Our time together was full of Bry recounting sweet memories to me and pointing out things that were important to her as we walked through campus. My favorite thing she talked to me about was something that held the most memories... her senior boots. For real imagine this... owning a pair of shoes that holds every important memory for an entire year of your life. Each class you stepped into and football game you attended. Many meals, celebrations, and I'm sure, tears and laughter. Each scuff held a story and the shiny parts had been carefully polished over many times.
Something about these boots holds more than the memories they have carried. They hold a reminder of growth. A reminder of God's faithfulness and goodness.
Bry, I hope these pictures hold the same.
