FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION

 

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR

And here’s my theory: this can be fun. And low pressure!

Whether everyone is on their best behavior or someone is having a meltdown, I promise we can get great images that capture this season for your family. Families always seem to leave their sessions saying, “gosh I hope we got something good in there”… and you know what… we always do. For me, family photo sessions aren’t about being “picture perfect”— you’ve got nothing to prove to me! It’s about honestly capturing personalities + connection. Whatever this season or year has looked like for your family, it is worthy of preserving through images and I’d be honored if you’d trust me to do it.

TIMING

We’ll block off an hour and half for your session, but we won’t be taking photos that entire time! My goal is to give us plenty of time for everyone to settle in, be themselves, and create space for playful and natural moments. You can choose a date + time that works best for your family at the bottom of this page. Think about what might work best with mealtimes and moods! And here’s the reality… we could cook a meal in your home or even have a picnic dinner during your session! Possibilities are endless and we can get creative :) Which brings me to…

LOCATION

Anywhere in the DFW area (within reason haha) is good with me. If you have a location in mind, let me know. And if you have no idea, I can give options! A few ideas:

  • Your home! Let’s capture the everyday moments that happen between those 4 walls.

    • NOTE: Perfect house not necessary :)

  • A favorite park or neighborhood spot. Is there somewhere that your family loves to go? Let’s go there and I’ll capture the fun.

  • Botanical Gardens (Fort Worth) or The Arboretum (Dallas). So much beauty, space to play, and the perfect spot for packing a dessert or picnic!

You get the idea. Let’s dream up a session where convenience, fun, and authenticity meet.

OUTFITS

FULL STOP, there is no need to stress about this! The best advice I can give you is to have everyone wear something they love, is comfy, and they can play in. Maybe start with an outfit YOU love (or use it as an excuse to get a new one…), see what the kids already have, and go from there! You can always text me for advice or an opinion.

Things to avoid: crazy patterns, majorly clashing colors, something you’ll be fidgeting with or thinking about (ex: Is my bra showing? Is the dress too short? Do I look weird?)

THE DETAILS

$625 session fee (that includes tax!)

After our session, I will sort through all the photos, narrowing it down to the best ones to edit. I don’t have an exact number, I promise to give you every photo I’d want if it were my own family! You’ll have download and print rights to the high-res edited images in an online gallery. They’re all yours!
